‘20대 남성 현상’과 스포츠윤리
이 연구의 목적은 스포츠윤리 교과목을 수강한 20대 남성들을 대상으 로 그들이 스포츠에서의 윤리적 판단 상황에서 어떠한 인식을 드러내고 있는지를 알아보는 것이었다. 최근 사회적 관심의 대상이 되고 있는 ‘20대 남성 현상’은 이념적 보수화와 반페미니즘으로 요약될 수 있으 며, 이러한 현상이 스포츠의 윤리적 판단 상황에는 어떻게 반영되는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 우선 20대 남성들은 올림픽에서의 남북단일팀 구성 에 대해 이전 세대와는 다른 부정적 인식을 드러냈다. 특히나 남북단일 팀 구성에 따른 선수 개인의 피해와 희생을 지적하고 그 과정에서의 정 치적 압력에 따른 불공정성을 비판하고 있었다. 다음으로 기존에는 스포츠에서의 성차별로 인식되던 사례에 대해서도 20대 남성들은 다른 인식 을 하고 있었다. 스포츠 경기에서 선수나 치어리더, 연예인의 노출은 그 들의 선택으로 존중해주어야 하며, 하나의 스포츠문화로 받아들일 필요가 있다고 인식하고 있었다.
‘The Phenomenon of 20s Male’ and Ethics in Sports
The purpose of this study was to examine how 20s male who attended a sport ethics lecture made moral judgment in sports. ‘The phenomenon of 20s male’ that recently attracting a lot of social attention was characterized by the ideological conservatization and anti-feminism, this study tried to examine the influence of this phenomenon on the situation of moral judgment in sports. First, men in their 20s exposed negative awareness of the organization of an unification team of the two Koreas in the Olympics, they had a different perception of exchange between south and north Korea than the previous generation had. They specifically pointed out the damage and sacrifice of the individual athlete caused by the organization of an unification team and attacked the unfairness of political pressure in the organization process. Next, men in their 20s had a different perception of the gender discrimination in sports, this probably diverged from established perception in sport ethics. They claimed that the sexuality of a female athlete, a cheerleader or a celebrity in sport event was respected as her choice, and that we needed to accept it as a new sport culture.
